The owners manual-----------
I use the same soap that I use on the outside (with WARM water) in a bucket with 1/4 cup of bleach. Apply with a brush on a pole that you use to clean the outside. Apply to bottom of awning, roll awning up let sit for about 1/2 hour unroll, scrub again with the soapy solution. Rinse. Let dry, roll up.
This is a procedure I use.

I use. "Jomax" available at Menards, Home Depot. You buy it concentrated, dilute in a pump sprayer, spray it on and watch it dissolve the mold. Works great. Had an old pop up that had bad mold growth on the canvas, use the Jomax and literally had new clean canvas by the time I finished.

I may get wrist-slapped for this but I have found that rubber roof cleaner works fantastically on awnings. It also cleans plastic parts (like MaxxAir domes, A/C shroud, LP bottle cover, etc.). I prefer "Best" brand...expensive, but effective. If there is some dark staining, I use a citrus degreaser product I buy from the local RV parts dealer.
