Cleaning the awning

We went on our 2nd camping trip in our new trailer last weekend, and when I rolled out the awning, I noticed tons of dead mayflies stuck to the underside of my awning, left from our trip to Lake Erie over July 4th. Can anyone recommend a good cleaner for cleaning the awning?

Home recipe

I had mold develop on our first trailer awning and I used some bleach, dishwashing soap, water and a pump up sprayer. Soaked the awning top and bottom, rolled it up for an hour. Unrolled it and hosed it off and it was good to go.

Be cautious of the the amount of bleach you use, I would suspect it could fade the colors but honestly I did not care about color fade, I wanted the mold gone.

I am a big fan of Korkay, I use it for everything, roof, sides and awning.
