We formerly used towels to cover the windows at night to keep out the light, which my DW indicated was bright in the morning (I rarely stay in there long enough to find out for myself in the morning). The towels constantly fell down (every time you touched them), as they were pretty heavy.
Late last year the DW bought some lightweight, cheap (dark brown) velour material for blocking the light. She does not claim to be a seamstress, but she just cut it to the size of the windows and sewed some velcro on the top corners of each of these curtain/shades, then glued a couple of pieces of velcro along the top of the valances above each rv window. The extra shades then attach to the window by velcro, simple and quick. When hanging, they just look like a single curtain on each window. We just stack them on top of the valances (velcro can be used to hold them up) when not in use.
