My Prism is only a year old and my awning has been opened and closed only twice. It didn't close all the way the last time I used it, leaving about six inches exposed. I applied power directly to the moor leads and got nothing. The awning model number listed in the manual is 8952. I'm 400 miles from the dealer, and heading in the opposite direction for a 1200 mile trip Tuesday. I took out the screws that secure the motor shaft and could not roll it any tighter than it is and still line up a screw hole, so I'll have to travel with the slack. I certainly HOPE that it falls under the recall and a BETTER motor is supplied than the one it came with!
