Cool Dometic Awning 9100 question

I picked up a used 9100 awning without the arms or mounting brackets.
What I'd like to know is even though it is a power awning, can I use the standard awning arms and just use a homemade cord to power awning in/out manually and just lock arms as if it was a manual awning?

I doubt it will work with the standard awning arms. The 9100 has completely different arms and mountings. I'm attaching the manual for the 9100 awning, take a look.

You can buy replacement arms it's sold as an assembly.

I bought a used set on eBay. However, I'd caution against that again as the ones I received were bent. I was able to make them work by using some parts from my old ones.
