Dometic awning doest unroll one side

Hello, Newguy again. Forum members solved my tow light circuit electrical problem nicely found blown fuse on truck. Now the first shake down trip finds the Dometic awning will not unroll one side.


The left side arm detaches properly and starts to unroll. The right side will not detach . All black travel latches are free .


The little lever on the roller moves properly but the arm will not detach from the top mechanism ?


Any input appreciated.

The OP has a 2004 Rockwood(unknown model).
So it's a manual awning.

Thanks for the reply Dan. However I found the culprit. Out of frustration I just used a big screwdriver to pry it and it popped out. See the picture, this pin was sticking out and preventing the arm from clearing. So I just tapped it flush and so far so good !
