Door Opening not square

The door of my 2015 Freedom Express has always been hard to close ( needed an extra push). This week I decided to see what the issues is. Upon inspection, I noticed that the door frame ( and opening) is not square. In addition the strike plate was put in backward. I switched the strike plate, but the screws in the strike plate still hit the door. It appears that the cutout in the side of the trailer ( it's Asdel) appears to slightly undersized and not square. Short of removing the door frame and trimming the asdel, I do not see an easy fix. Will try to find some thin head screws.

Are the screw heads above the strike plate causing inference with the edge of the door. Could you counter-sink the strike plate holes deeper/larger such that the screw heads are flush?

That is probably the plan. Currently uses pan head screws. Will try countersinking screw holes in strike plate and using flat head screws. If I can get about 1 mm lower, I should be OK. To complicate the problem, screws are fastened to opening in frame with screw clips which add about 0.5mm . I'm thinking assembler drilled screw holes too big and solved it with screw clips. I think I can get a nut on back of frame ( thru strike plate opening) and eliminate screw clip as well.
