Double Pane windows

Been told that the gas between the glass breaks down and they fog up under extreme heat as in Texas

That can not be unless you have a leak. If I lived in Texas I would put them at the top of the list. Do house windows fog up? Same gas is used...

WE have some in ours that have fogged up, waiting on Cedar Creek to get with the mfg to see what to do, we were at the FROG Rally so they could not find out there and will hear from them ( I HOPE ) on the outcome. There were 3 of us there with that problem.

Ordered them on our RV and took delivery 12/13. We live in central Texas, have had too many triple digit days up to now. The windows are doing just fine, no fog between the glass. Have them on our home also, 13 yr old house, no fogging of the windows.

They use a non expansion inert gas between the panes. They are first vacuumed and then injected with the gas and sealed shut. There's no repair. According to the experts glass life without fail is about 10 years, some survive much longer. Temp doesn't matter, sunlight is biggest enemy of dual pane glass.
