you will probably need to extend it back out (unroll the material) you can slide the material in the roller grove back to the center and then reclose the awning

Had this exact problem a few weeks ago. We own a 2010 Puma 26RLSS TT and one day the awning wouldn't roll up right. Turns out, the awning slide to one slide on the spool. Easy fix... Extend the awning and pull the material back into position. You'll be able to tell if its in the right position because it'll line up with the dirt lines on the roller from when it was aligned correctly. We had difficulty doing it from the ground and had to stand on a ladder to pull on the fabric at the right angle to get it to slide. You shouldn't have to tug too hard to get it move back into place.

You shouldn't have to unplug anything. You may have to push the roller/spool closer to the camper, to break some of the tension but it should move.

I literally watched my husband (standing on a ladder, so he's taller than spool) put one hand on the spool and the other on the awning fabric (the main body of the awning) and pulled fabric along the slot on the roller.

The fabric that is moving so easily,is it double slotted on the roller/spindle?Mine is...I moved the fabric for a friend of mine three weeks ago with no problem but it was only single slotted on the roller/spindle...Mine will not move....
