Emergency exit window

Cherokee 274dbh has an emergency exit window by the dinette. Does anyone know if it opens for normal use it has a red lock on it? Afraid to open it without knowing if the window will fall out.

As made they are fully open or fully closed. Does yours have a screen? Very usable windows.

Yes. It opens out to a lock position. Have used mine several times. Just open it slowly til you reach the catch.

Most definitely! It's my favorite window IN the place. Mine opens fully in the bedroom and catches a really terrific breeze over the half windows everywhere else.
