Emergency windows/ Help

I'm a little confused about this, can anyone help.
My emergency windows have screens and curtains first off.
At the bottom of these emergency windows is a red handle you can lift up and push out on the handle to open the window about 3 inches.
My question; is it ok to use these windows for some fresh air or will they fall out if we use them. They look like they are made to be used but only opening them 3 inches and 3 inches is fine with me I just want some fresh air on cool mornings in the bedroom. I just don't want the windows to fall out.
Hope someone knows if its ok to use them. I can't find any information on it in any of our materials that came with the RV.

I'd post a picture but I am still getting the Error 413 code saying pic size is to large even though it is a lot smaller than the size limit.

I opened and closed the emergency windows on my last two trailers many times without issue.

I don't know about others but my emergency egress window works like any of the other windows and slides up and down, but in an emergency there are 2 release handles that takes the entire window out of the frame. Also, in my case I have a door in the bedroom (as well as one in the living room) so I don't need the window exit, besides I could never get my old body through the window opening and then fall out on my head.

I've also always opened the windows marked 'Emergency Exit' on my trailers - but only to the notch on the red handle. Given the interlocking-extrusion appearance of the hinges at the top of the window, I don't know what might happen if they were opened to an extreme - maybe that's where the 'lost e-exit window on road, maybe handle not locked' stories come from.

You can use them, been doing it for years without problem. Now if they were not screened I would think they were only to be used in an emergency.

Good point - if they were 'emergency-only' why would they waste money putting screens on them?
