Entry Steps

Couldn't find a more appropriate sub-forum for this.....

My entry steps cannot be adjusted (the link between the two balls) so that the motor shuts down properly at the end of the UP cycle. Because of this the steps "clunk" 8-10 times before it finally gives up.

Has anyone else had this problem?? I believe the steps are manufactured by Stromberg-Carlson. Could the electronic module be defective??

I've posted this previously in the Berkshire forum several months ago. Thought I might get better responses in this forum since non-berk owners may not read that forum.

EDIT: Just found out that the steps are SOLD by S-C, but are actually manufactured by Lippert.
