Georgetown 350TS Main Door

I'm having an issue with the main door bracket attached to top of door. It's not keeping the door from swinging pass the length of the shock strut. Keeps pulling the bracket loose. The metal is soft and doesn't hold the bracket in place. Any suggestions on how to keep the door from swinging to far? Bracket holes are just about gone.

Some photos of the effected area would be helpful.

Had the same issue. I put a "leash" on the door handle to guide the door out and to pull it shut when entering. Used 2 "woven parachute cord bracelets" linked together through the handle. The holes in door stripped? I put a appropriate length of solid copper wire in hole then reinserted the screws. Copper wire narrows the hole and is soft allowing the threads of the screws to bite into the wire. So far so good. The "leash" prevents a sprung door and it is much easier on me coming or going as an extension of my arm

Cool Georgetown 350ts main door bracket

Photos of a very weak bracket. Had ours over extend several times. Would be nice if Forest River would fix this.
