Holes in awning

2016 Vengeance with a Solera awning. I believe it's vinyl but not sure. My wife and I cleaned it Saturday and we discovered some pinholes above the slide out. How do we repair them? Does it get repaired on both sides or just one side?

Personally I would put eternabond on the top. You won't see it most of the time and it would seal it and keep from further tearing. Best of luck!

You could also use Flex seal tape and it comes in white and put on top of awning. Later RJD

The top of my Awning is a tan color but I never see the top anyway unless I am cleaning the roof. Is there a specific Eternabond to use? I certainly don't need 50' of it but Amazon seems to have limited choices.

Personally-I would not use Eternabond tape only because it is somewhat thick. That would tend to make a bump when the awning is rolled up. I have had pin holes appear like magic with various TT's over the years. I use a clear tape, maybe 1 1/2" wide, that is made just for awning repair. I use it on both sides, that's just me. Make sure the awning material is clean, I wipe the area with medical type alcohol wipe pads, make sure it is dry, and if you can do it in warm weather it will stick even better.

Do these pinholes actually leak?

Might be my old eyes but other than the bumpy thing in photo #1, I see nothing I'd be too alarmed about. A small dab/smear of a good clear sealer like ProFlex (not silicone) INTO the small holes will stop any drips and you'll never see the sealer at all.

Eternabond may be thicker than flex seal tape but you can get it in tan from their website. EternaBond

The "holes" do not appear to leak but normally they are hidden by the slide so I never see them. Also this part is never rolled up since it is so close to the end awning closest to the trailer itself.
