If it is "new".... why not get FR to replace it under warranty????
That way, if they F it up...they will make sure that it is done "correctly and working" before you pick it up. Maybe you will have some other things that need fixing/replacing and can get it all done.
If you go to replace it all, it could take hours and might have loads of problems. Let FR/dealer handle the stress.
If you do the replacement and it doesn't work or fails after some time, you are on your own.
