Living Room Window

hope all is well with everyone. here is my story.

I bought my 2014 366FL Sierra 5th wheel in July 2015, got a killer deal. (Trust me when I say, "Be extremely careful of "DEALS")

The first rain the window track kept filling with rain water, had to use a TOWEL TO REMOVE IT.

so I call Forest River and explain the situation and he informed me that none of the exterior seals have a warranty. that was surprising news to me.

being in sunny southern California I put it off till October when we had a 15 minute rain and it happened again. This time I sat nth a fiend of mine and discovered that the seals weren't the problem, they had installed it upside down and all of the drain holes were on the top instead of the bottom where they were supposed to be.

After contacting Forest River again, She was very helpful and her staff over there agreed that they had improperly installed it, and they even installed the wrong window.

They sent a new window to replace it, however it was not the same style as the original. so, I took the original and cut new drain holes in the bottom and plugged the top yesterday and re installed it till I find out what Forest River is going to do to correct there mistakes. I emailed them today and should her something back tomorrow.

I did all of this just in time, it just started raining today, its been a real light rain but as of now the window track in the original window is as dry as dry can be.

I hope they send me the correct window soon.

After inspecting the quality of the two windows I believe the Original window is a much better quality window.
