The awning will not retract. There appears to be no power to the switch unknown why. No other electrical issues. Is there a single fuse for this if so where. Unit is a class c Forester

I assume you have tested for power at the switch?
And I assume you have checked the power center?
If you are stuck, it would be easy to jump power from another switch to get the awning retracted.

fuse should have been located in the battery control center, attached to the left side of the stepwell. It is the top left fuse location on the circuit board. If not, it should be wherever the brown wire is located on the board. Is this what you found RBR?

Yes the fuse was blown and was in the battery control center left side of stairwell. Replaced fuse

Same problem. Retracted the awning with aux power, but my fuse is fine.

I am noting that there is no power to the brown wire terminal. The fuse has power to the hot leg, continuity is good in the fuse, power appears on the downline leg of the fuse when fuse inserted, but there is no power to the terminal to which the brown wire is connected.

2012 unit, and we are set to depart this next week! Arrrrrgh!

Any thoughts?

Also, just to be complete, there is no power at the switch.

No idea, mine turned out to be a burnt out motor, but your motor seems to be fine if it retracted with Aux power. Hope ya find the problem before ya leave. You don't realize how important an awning is till you don't have one. I went most of the winter in Fla without one.
