Not torn but..starting to separate

Good day. I noticed the awning over my slide for the couch and table has a slight 3 inch sepeartion starting from the edge where the awning meets the track of the trailer and goes in 3 inches following the trailer track. Not torn but starting to seperate. You can see the stitching. Before it actually tears or seperates, would anyone suggest the besy Tape to use ?

search for - the stuff is awesome and is so strong you can not poke a hole in it. Adheres to almost any surface. My slide out awning was starting to rip at one corner because of the weight of rain and now it's stronger than ever. highly recommend this product!
