outdoor kitchen door supports?

Hi, I just bought a 2013 Heritage glen 282Rk. the outside kitchen door has no way to prop it open whatsoever. I have seen other kitchen doors with hydraulic supports like what hold up the back hatch on a car used on these but there arent even any mount holes on the door or the frame, as if nothing was ever even installed. I do see 2 damaged places in the weatherstripping at the bottom as if there were two posts there holding it up but there is nowhere on the door to support such a thing. I also read that a lot of these factory setups fail. Im pretty handy and can do some fab. does anyone have the factory part#s for what should be on this camper? Or what strut length and lbs I should use, where to get the brackets and generally how many inches from what to where they should be. OK, Im asking a lot here, but there is literally nothing there to guide me. Or maybe someone has a completely custom setup that works better than stock. I called the closest dealer, 1 hr away, for part numbers last week and they haven't called me back. Thanks a lot for any help. I included pics of the door frames and the damaged rubber, no holes whatsoever even inside the cabinet (except those two right under the locks but you couldn't put a support bracket there or you wouldn't be able lock it!).

I found a video online about newer model of your rig. Around 32 seconds into the video, it shows that door open but doesn't show any supports.
Could there possibly be magnets on the bottom of the door and on the side of the rv to hold up that door?

I also watched some videos and looked at some pics online. My guess is that a storage door latch, just like the ones that hold your other doors open should be there, on the rear side just next to the awning arm.

Some pages said "Want more pics?" so you could probably ask them to send you pics of how the door is intended to stay open.

I would caution against the gas struts to hold it open as an upgrade. My 2010 Rockwood had them. They were stronger than the door panel and eventually broke through. Every Spring I'd try some new way to reinforce the door.

I have a 2019 282rk and mine has magnets to hold it up. Also does not have a latch handle like yours, that would prohibit the magnets from attaching.

Thank you all so much for the responses. Skip12, you were right. There are little back plastic 2"x3/4" srms that swing out 90 degrees from the camper that grab the door when its opened. I never noticed the one by the kitchen. I noticed ones on the front by the storage doors but I thought they were for attaching those stick on levels to so you could level front to back then swing it out and level side to side!? Nope, theyre latches for the doors - duh/ Thanks again everyone!

I have a 2018 282RK with the clip on the side. The only problem when you leave the door open it blocks part of the window on that side. The 272RL has the same kitchen door and there is a mod on this forum adding gas struts.

I had the dealer flip the window so the open end wasn’t blocked by the door. When the door was up it blocked the air flow. I spoke with factory to see if there was a reason it was installed that way. They said they’d never heard of that being an issue. We notice the first time we went out.
