Party deck problems

I have a 2014 Sandpiper with a party deck. The deck has been replaced three times. It is spongy again. I have contacted Lippert and they will not replace it even though it is made of "water resistant" wood, not "water proof" wood. They offered me 20% off a new deck plus shipping and labor ($3000). We would like to trade or sell this RV but can't because of the deck. Anyone else have this problem?

Many have, it is not waterproof and should never be left out in the rain. Same goes to there brands. The design is a bad idea and that was never thought out very well. Someone here was rebuilding the decj using the outside skins and aluminum weld frame filling in with foam and a plastic wood style top.
