Power Awning De-Flapper

I bought the big Camco Awning De-Flapper-Max Awning De-Flapper MAX - Camco 42251 - Awning Accessories & Hardware - Camping World finally came up with a way to hook them to the power awning. Don't know if it will work, but will try them out when we get into a windy situation.

Looks like it'd work. I have a set of those laying around from several RV's ago. The hook you made almost looks like a piece of an old awning pull rod.

At least in Heaven, RVs will be perfect, and I won't have to keep fixing them.

Aint that the truth. I don't throw away a whole lot for that very reason. That "just laying around" stuff has been the one piece I needed several times.

Since I mentioned awning rod, and I got several laying around, I might just sacrifice one of those for that purpose.

Might have to get the torch out for that.

Does this mean you won't be flapping in the wind anymore?

It has been working fine, used it 3 or 4 times in FL the last 2 yrs and contrary to what some folks said or thought, no ill effects on the awning.
