Power Awning Issues

Last August we had a wind gust damage our Dometic powered awning on our Lacrosse and State Farm covered the replacement of 2 support arms which were installed by our dealer. When I picked up the unit I pressed the awning button and confirmed 2 way operation but only ran the awning out a couple of feet and back. Pretty much after that we parked the trailer at storage and haven't used it since. This weekend I brought it hope to de winterize and check out everything in preparation for a trip in June. I rolled out the awning to clean it and the extend mode runs fine, but it would not retract. I can hear the motor engage and it rolls up a few inches and then dies. I had my daughter hold the switch while I spun the roller and it eventually started to roll up on it's own at a snail's pace. Anyone else have this problem? Is the motor toast or is it possible that the dealer may have done something when they replace the 2 arms?
