Pull Down Shades

Anyone know how to adjust the tension on the pull down shades on Wildwood 27RLSS. Upon delivery, the shades were too loose and fell down. Now, after taking it in for service, they are too tight and it's hard to put the shades up without 'wrinkling' the shades.

Most day/night type shades are tension adjustable via the string/holder, fastened below the shade on each side if that's the kind of shade you have.

Sometimes you can loosen the screw and rotate the string holder to free up or tighten the resistance, dependent upon which way you rotate the string holder.

Sometimes you have to tie a new knot in a different place on the string.

If the shades are tight, the strings may be dry. You may wanna first try to slick them up with a candle wax or soap.

According style shades are a pain best answer is to replace with MCD shades. Much better but not cheap. Go to their website and check it out.
