rear camera blocked by awning.

I have a sun seeker 2500TS with a rear slide. When backing up with the rear slide all the way in, the awning blocks the view to the last 3 to 4 feet behind the motor home. Does anyone else have this problem and is there a solution?

Have you called Forest River about this? This is obviously an engineering failure. I wonder if you can pull the camera and mount it on a platform that will pull it out a little bit.

I thought about moving the camera out but was wondering if the awning could be adjusted to park closer to the body. It looks as if there is an inch or two to spare but is stopped by an aluminum piece on the drivers side. I was hoping to see if anyone with a rear slide had the same problem.
