Thumbs up Shout out for Jenni at Dometic

I have had my 2013 Rockwood 8329SS since 11/12. This year I noticed fading and delamination of both awnings. My unit is out of warranty. I contacted Dometic this week about the issue. What did I have to loose? I received a reply from Jenni at Dometic Customer Service the next day. She requested pictures of the issues along with the information from the awnings manufacturing tags. Two days later I received an email from Jenni advising me that they would replace the awning fabric for both awnings less labor. I was shocked.
Now that is what I call Customer Support!!!!

good for you doesn't hurt to ask and you are the best advertisement they could get without paying for it.

I can also report good customer service from Dometic. Short version...I had what I thought was an issue and contacted them by phone. They talked me through the "problem" and spent considerable time to solve the issue. Definitely a top notch organization when it comes to customer support.
At some point during every day you suddenly realize nothing else productive is going to happen the rest of that day. For me, it usually occurs around 9 am.

They replaced my awning fabric 2 years ago at the FROG Rally due to pin holes and peeling, they kept apologizing because it was a different design then our original awning but we liked it better.

I can also give Dometic Customer Service a . Once in resolving the "blue light special" in the refer and another at replacing the wiring cover that fell out of my awning on the road. Kudos Dometic Cust. Svc!

Domestic was very helpful to me with the replacement of the arm lock assembly on my awning as well - great customer service!

Good to see all of the positive reports on Dometic's customer care unit. Might just add that I too, have had good outcomes, in past dealings. Might also add that at the prices they charge for replacement parts, ($50 for a plastic fridge shelf,) they can afford to be generous.

They told me at FROG this year that the fabric was not a Warranty item, even though they were changing out several as I sit and watched
