Side mirrors

I have a 2015 3011ds Forester. and the water that drains off the top of the roof through the little gutter has streaked up my mirrors. Does anyone know how I can clean then and not damage the mirror.

I use vinegar and a razor blade to get the hard water spots off my truck mirrors.Just scrape very easy on it.Works for me.

Use "0000" steel wool on it when the glass is dry. It will polish the glass and remove your spots. Then after it's been polished, apply the old fashioned rain-x to it and that should help prevent future spotting.

Thanks . Do you think that the mirrors maybe plastic?

I do not know if they are plastic or not. I do know that it is NOT a good idea to use steel wool if they are plastic. Not a good idea to use a razor either for that matter. They will be scratched if the mirrors are plastic.

Yes I know. With every company in the US trying to make there products less expensive so they can compete it is hard to say. I will call there help line and maybe they can tell me.
