Slide awning replacement

I have a 2012 Sunseeker and I need to replace the bedroom slideout awning. Does any1 know who the manufacturer is for the original awning?

Welcome to the forum!

Did you get a sheet in with your paperwork on delivery which lists all the componenets and serial numbers of the equipment installed on your camper? The slide topper should be listed there.

There's no tag/label on the existing topper or mounting hardware?

Dave

Completely unroll the slide awning. There "should be" a tag mounted on the housing for the springs, etc. with information on it. From experience: Getting into a position to read this information--well, , ,

Replacing the awning does not appear overly complicated and have seen a pair of "good old boys" with a six pack of Bud do the job in an hour or so.

Here is a sample of how it is done (your awning SHOULD be similar)

Tough Tops in Yuma Arizona make a great slide topper. It is a heavier fabric then the fabric supplied from the original manufacturer. I helped a fellow RVer replace 3 on a MH last year. It took about 1 hr. / slide and we had our 6 pack afterwards.
