Slide out Cover Repair

Well, after many years and many miles, I managed to hit a sign at the fuel island. Fortunately, only a small scrape, but I did manage to put three small tears in the slide cover material. Small, as in 1/2" x 1/2". All it needs is some repair tape.
So, what kind of tape? Duct tape? Gorilla tape? Or, is there a fabric repair tape that would be better?

Thanks!

I've succesfully used Tear-Aid repair patch. They have type "A" for fabrics (tan box) and type "B" for vinyl (green box). Amazon has it.

I used Gorilla clear successfully on an outdoor room roof that had pine cones rip through it, Tom. Worked out the bubbles and did it on both sides--but it made the fabric stiff in that section, and depending on how the tear went, might be a bit problematic. Duct tape never lasts, gets dry and thready, and a mess to clean off later, in my experience.
Seems to be a club that includes signs that lean into a rig, unsuspectingly and tree limbs that just wait to jump out in front of you. Glad it was nothing worse.
Rally service sheet?

There are many R/V awning repair tapes available.
Gorilla Glue clear seems a popular choice.'

Also if the fabric has a hole poked through but the small flap of material is still there, I've seen successful repairs with Liquid Stitch.

I purchased Tear-aid at a local Walmart. I'll let you know how well it works.

Patches applied. It takes 24 hours for the adhesive to fully cure. I am hopeful that this will prevent the slide cover from tearing in wind. Time will tell.

How good a seamstress are you? I've had pretty decent luck using Fireline( kevlar fishing line) in repairs of camping equipment, PUP tents, ADCO rv covers to name a few. Use the thin stuff. A drop of super glue at the end of a stitch will lock it. Suppose it all depends on the degree of damage. Just a thought!
