Strut lubrication

When the awnings are retracting, they make a loud chattering noise. Found it to be the struts. Does anybody use some type of lubricant. Thanks

I found the answer from the dometic techs at the rally. Use a luberication spray.

Mine do the same thing. I sprayed them with Silicone spray. Same recommendation from lippert for the landing jacks. Quieted it down. Day later it was chattering again.

White lithium spray. Found at any hardware store. Works on door hinges also.
