Was at my storage yard today and another MH owner came up and asked if I had been broken into also. Apparently, 5 units had been burglarized recently. Looking at my door frame, I realize that it would not be hard to pry the door open. Has anyone made a security upgrade that seems like it would slow a person down?

Know of a few people who have installed cameras and battery operated security alarms that email them if there is a break I a nd they can call the police.
I do know of some who have had the lock smith change their locks so they are no longer generic keys and can help a bit. Then another guy beefed up his door jam but that was met with beat out windows to get in. Think I would rather the busted door.
I have insurance to replace anything stolen and damage repaired.
If they want in nothing short of Ft. Knox will stop them.
