What not to do...
One point, I would like to make, and I would hope that most everyone knows this...do not clean your awning with a pressure washer. No ... It wasn't me, however it was my neighbor. This last fall, we were both doing our awnings...I was using a soft bristled brush, soap and a wide spray of a garden hose nozzle. Took me several hours, as I was cleaning off several years of "yuck" from the previous owners. My neighbor had his done in about 30 minutes, with a massive torn spot created by the pressure washer.
I only put this out there for others to know what not to do. As everything is so expensive, I certainly want to take care of what I own.
I do feel for this family, as they have let there (new to them) trailer turn into an eye sore, as simple care and maintenance issues have not been addressed. The plastic propane cover has many chunks taken out of it, the drivers side (in relation to the truck) fender skirt is completely missing, right rear hubcap is gone and both end caps from the back bumper are missing. All told, this trailer has been turned into a real eye sore. I have noticed over the past several months on this site, we tend to appreciate and take care of our toys. May it be that way in the years to come.
