What's this commonly called?

I'm replacing my locking compartment latches with combination twist and keyed lock latches. I'd like to install these "levers" also on some of the doors, but can't find them. I'm sure I'm not calling them the correct name in my search. What are they called???

Being a COB (Charter member of the Cheap Ole B@stard club. And yes, I have the patch to prove it... ), I'm going to see how cheap I can find them.... I also want to make sure it won't interfere with the thumb latch...

Barrel Locks with finger Pull

Done what you are talking about to my old trailer. The finger pulls are all replaceable to use on the new locks. You do not have to buy extras. Simple procedure and peace of mind. Just measure the depth of the locks you are replacing so you get the same.

I only received two of the finger pulls on my five compartments that I planned to reuse, so I'll need to order some more.

Wrong Question

I asked the wrong question..... I now have locks and thumb pulls. What I want is something that locks but I can unlock and have it remain latched. Presently when I unlock them the compartment hangs open a bit. I can have the pull but not required.

Anybody find any of these.

This looks like what I was talking about but it says glove box lock. Will it work on a storage hatch. Does not look deep enough??

thing-a-ma-bob, doo-hickey, what-cha-ma-call-it...are some of the more common names. I don't know the proper term...

Customer Service?

Did the google thing. One looked promising but had no specs to look at. I called the company to ask the question. Very nice lady listened told me she would have to ask and would get back to me....... emailed about an hour later with a completely different answer. I replied with the question again. Two hours later I basically got " We have no idea .... but you can order some to see".

Huh?
