Need some idea of how much alum tubing to buy.

Waiting until the rally will no doubt be too late as I will buy material for 25 sets while I'm in FL and will start fabrication the last of Mar. I don't think and sure hope they will be gone by Aug. Best to pm me and get your order in now.

Well, got the (50) lower poles drilled, chamfered & de-burred and the (50) 2-1/4" dia foot pads cut, de-burred and ready for Mardy to tig weld. Welding fixture also made and ready. Should have the (50) inner poles laid out for the 20 holes in each and center punched sometime tomorrow. Will start drilling Sat and Sun. All the hardware should be here next week. Looks like I can start shipping around the 17th. Still have to go to Lowes and get the shipping tubes which will require removing the hitch to have room to haul them.

Need a refresher--what is the cost for a set and are they pretty much a universal fit?

I know there are pictures here somewhere. Can I get a clue?

Just received our set of awning poles from OC today. That was quick..
Hope the weather continues to warm up and the snow melts so I can get the awning poles attached.

Yep, not a bad idea, since it's gonna be awhile before the snow is gone.. Not being able to work on getting the trailer ready is almost as bad as waiting for it to show up at the dealership! Been a long winter - this one.

What do you recommend we use to polish our sets? I bought him a power polisher/buffer some time ago....still new in the box.
Any certain brand buffing compound you'd recommend?

TOWTA used a buffing wheel and jewelers rouge for about 11hrs on the uppers. PM gljurczyk how he polished his second set.

We have some "buffing compound" that I use to (hand) buff out minor scratches on my Jeep. I'm wondering it that would work?
Sheesh, how much jeweler's rouge did it take for her to do that?
ELEVEN HOURS? Did you follow labor regulations and allow her paid breaks? Did you pay her OT after 8 hours? 
I told ya I might hide DH's clubs until he gets them polished and installed.
 Well, Houston we have a problem....
Came in from work at lunch today, and there he was in the kitchen with his golf catalogs spread out on the counter (he makes custom clubs) on the phone ordering new heads, shafts, and grips for himself!  AND a new golf bag.
(just laughing) When he got off the phone he said "I bought the components for new wedges for you too!" /snort
I might have to hang out here at the house and confiscate that shipment, then hide it until he gets the poles job done.
