Window

I really, really want a window in the WC room (that's watercloset for you nautical folks). I found a 24X24 flush mount window and was wondering is there is any reason I shouldn't do this. I'm not sure where the aluminum frames are but figured that I can find out.

It should be a no brainier to do this?

As long as there aren't any aluminum frame members in the way, I don't see any issues. But if you find a frame member in the way, I would think twice. I don't imagine there would be any wiring in the way? Might be worth checking with FR, as once you start, there's no going back!

Do you want the window to open?

If not, check about using same system as in entry door.

I want it to open to reduce fugitive odors.
