Window problem

I have a new 2015 Silverback 33IL and the rear escape window fell off. The unit was parked in the yard with the window open. Out side temp was about 95. It did not break so I was able to put it back on with the help of duck tape until I can get it fixed. It came unglued at the top hinge. Any one have this problem?

While I have not had that problem, I have come to understand that the escape window is basically designed as a one time use window. It isn't designed to be opened and closed on a regular basis. I've read a number of stories about the hinge breaking and the window falling out. Go figure -------

These newer frame less windows have issues with the glue not holding. My new camper had the bottom closer come loose from window and they where going to replace but then they decided to re glue. So far it's holding. Later RJD

Window problem

Thanks for the info. I have not heard that it is a onetime only window. I will check it out and get back to you. I have heard back from my dealer and he said Ceder Creek will replace it. Also window manufacture is involved and may send a repair man out to fix it.

Mine dose also. Window manufacture is shipping a new one. The dealer I purchased my RV from has been very helpful. Tropical RV in Fort Pierce FL.

The window in our 29Re --bedroom----disappeared the day we arrived home from Florida end of April.....We used window on a daily basis both day and night.....I had to order a new window thru dealer and I installed it....Fehr was the manufacturer...Called them and they said that there was no reason not to use this "escape" window for air circulation.....All the other windows seem to be the same construction--hinged on top.....Hope to hear from others that have had this problem so I can go back to dealer/FR.... Cost was approx $400.00 Cdn......J
