Windshield Wiper Delay Module
2012 Forest River Georgetown 378 Class A coach. Windshield wipers are acting sketchy. Sometimes they will go up a few inches, rock back-and-forth and hang up. Over the course of several hours they will continue to try to move in a normal position an inch or two at a time, until they finally get back to the normal resting position. Toggling the windshield wiper switch gives a mixed results good and bad. I’m assuming the wiper delay module is bad. Here is my problem. I called Forrest River today, they are unable to tell me who put this in. According to Ford, it’s not their part when they check the Vin number. Forrest River suggested AM as they were the ones that installed the windshield wipers. AM says the delay module is not theirs and that it could be Ford or somebody else. Anybody have any experience with this, or know where this module would be located and what it looks like? Or even the origin of it? The comment from the forest river people today was that my 2012 coach is an “older model coach and it’s hard to tell who installed what parts on it”. Personally I think that’s a crock of crap considering 2012 is only seven years ago. I don’t feel that’s an old coach considering that prices these things cost, but that’s a discussion for another day. Right now I need some ideas on where to locate this windshield wiper intermittent delay control in the coach and who the vendor on it might be.
