2006 Sunseeker 27' Class C Slide-out Q's - Follow-up

Some time ago I sought advice on possible ramifications / solutions re a slide out that "turned over" when the switch was engaged, but the slide wouldn't move. My local repair outfit has now had my unit for 3 weeks citing having to replace the motor - I'm sort of ok with that - these things happen; BUT I can't help but question being assured that the delay in getting us back on the road is due to A) the only way to replace the motor involves "dropping" the gray water tank to "get at it / replace it" & B) the part (motor) has been ordered but is still "in transit".
Please someone assure me that I'm being overly suspicious.

Getting Slide Parts Takes Forever

Hope your unit it fixed by now, but we've had the same problem getting slide out parts from Lippert. Our unit was only a couple of months old and the motor had tbe replaced, took over 5 weeks to get the part from Lippert. It's fixed now and the other side has a motor that went out before we had a a chance to use it. So here we are again waiting for a motor. For as much as these coaches cost the parts ought to be on hand and shipped overnight. Good luck.
