2011 355 QBQ slide cylinder rust prevention

We recently purchased our FR and live in it full time. The slides are hydrolic and will be out more then in what is a good product to coat the exposed cylinder to prevent rust we are on the Oregon coast , it rains here from time to time not to mention the salt air. Thanks in advance

A hydraulic cyclinder shaft shiny part shouldn't rust at the tip might if not chrome plated right. Being said I have heard others saying that it can. I would try white lithium grease in the can and use disposal glove to coat. Something that would stay awhile and help the wiper seal on the packing.
