2013 Sunseeker 3170 slide out leaking

My kitchen slide out is leaking when it is in the out position only. It appears to be running down the front side of the slide out down the base then running along the bottom then reaching the floor of the rv right behind the driver seat. Any ideas how to fix or has anyone experienced this with their rv?

Yes had it happen when my rubber seal did not fully extend ....I had to put a spatula under the seal to pull it out to seal. I then sprayed with the slide seal lube. Now I use the lube every time I open the slide. Hope it helps

Jerry, Thanks for the reply. I am new to owning an RV and I am not sure which rubber seal you are talking about. The black one around the outside or the white one that runs on the inside of the slide out?

The black one on the outside sometimes gets twisted an does not seal. Also do you have a awning on top of your slide?

Yes it does have an awning. Is there a particular brand of slide seal That you like? I have never used it before.

Got mine at camping world but any dry lube will work. Also that it is clear as some may have graphite which is messy. My can says for slide seals. Good luck

Rubber seal conditioner. Good for rubber and slide gears.

It happened to me as well. You might not be getting it seated very well. You may try to bring the slide in then send it back out. I was told to hold the slide switch for a two count after it stops.
