2017 Wildwood slide issue

Got a brand new 2017 Wildwood 263bhxl and the slide doesn't go in our out evenly. The slide cants and the front opens well before the rear. Just bought it and didn't notice till I got it home. Is this normal? Thanks.

It should come out evenly, though it will tilt a bit from top to bottom when moving in or out until it reaches full lock in either direction. If I am understanding your description correctly it sounds like the gear timing is out. I would take it back in for adjustments. It's really not that hard to adjust a slide but it is new and that should have been caught at the dealership

Any updates? Have the same camper an got it home an set up today. Go to run the slide out an it's like one side wants to go but not the other. Any ideas?

Yes. Apparently the slide has to be calibrated. Run it all the way out. Then run it in about 8" to a foot then run it back out. Then run it all the way in and all the way out. It should then work.
