2019 forest river sierra wont slide out

Going camping sunday so need help. Jacks work in and out. When you try slides in you can hear it get loud like it does when its at its end and it draws a little tighter. You switch to take them out and they move a tick like its taking the pressure off but they dont go out. Pump never gets loud like when its doing real work. Its almost like a solenoid is not switching. Last time I bumped it out was a month ago at home. I went up into the bed room at the smallest slide which comes out first and I pushed it out by hand a foot. It draws right back in with pump but it wont go out. Not sure if anybody else had this.

You can hear pump but it never sounds loud like its doing real work. If you slide in you can see it work and hear it get louder. I pushed small bedroom out a foot so its not stuck. Draws right back in but wont go out. Suppose to go camping sunday. Any help would be great. Jacks work fine

Have you checked the fluid level and made sure there are no leaks in the system? When looking for leaks also check your leveling hydraulics. They share the same system. It wasn't common for Sandpiper/Sierra to have isolation valves in the system when we purchased ours, but maybe check for valves in your hydraulic bay and make sure they are open if you have any.

I would start with the switch first. Maybe try reversing the wires on it and see if it pushes them out unless you don't have a rocker switch and it is a touch pad then move on to the pump.

Yeah I dont see any valves. Tank level is fine. Its been parked on blacktop so dont see any leaks. I raised all jacks to bring level up and its perfect. Still wont bump out. When you go to bump in it doesnt get very loud like its even trying. Like a solenoid isnt switching but I dont see any smoking guns

Yeah all touch pad. Tried switching wires at pump at solenoid block but never got a anything different. If I could just get the damn thing out I would be good cause it will go back in and I can take it for warranty work later, but we are going on vacation sunday

You should be able to use a drill to open and close your hydraulic slides. On my 379 FLOK I can do this. Not sure of your setup but might be worth looking into so you can enjoy your get away.

Really? It it something hidden somewhere. where is the manual thing it? On each slide?

I believe he is referring to using a drill motor with a quarter inch hex bit to turn the hydraulic motor, if it isn't running on its own....which you state, it is.

My slide has a control unit that protects the motor from burning out It can be manually overridden by pressing a button on the unit 7 times and then deploying the slide out after having made sure there are no obstructions. My control unit was in the front driver outside compartment.

To my knowledge there is no manual override for each individual slide, only spinning the hydraulic pump motor with a drill. But as was asked earlier, are you plugged in to shore power? The slide hydraulics are a major power draw on a battery(s).

The gears in these things are made of brass. I am surprised you got so much life out of it. I replaced one on the road a couple of years ago. Not a real big deal

I had a similar issue with my slides. Even when connected to the shore power they would start to come in or go out and then stop. I found that there was a bad cell in my battery and replaced it. This took care of the issue.

There are videos on YouTube of how to manually run your hydraulic slide pump with a drill.
