Post 2019 FR3 slide outs

I have a 2019 32DS with bunk beds. The master bedroom slide out seems to not go out all the way. it hits the stops but i had a fellow camper that park next to me with the same unit same year and there slide out goes out a foot further. anyone know what may cause this?

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. A 12" difference is huge, if I read you right your slide is stopping 12" short of the outside wall? or if its sealing up against the outside wall then maybe the other guy had an optional larger slide. It will be interesting to find out.

Yes its goes all the way out to it hits the stops. I looked on line and I don,t see a options for the larger slide out. from what I could see the slide outs were the same just theirs went out further. really strange!! same year and model

When you say stops are the seals against the inside of the outside wall or is the slide stopping short. Have you actually measured this difference or going by how it looks?

Inside stops and seal. I measured it and it was 12" different. you can also see it when you walk into bedroom and you have to turn sideways on mine but not on theirs. its weird because it looks like the bunks can go out more but not the sections in the master bedroom.

If your slide is against the wall I don't see how it could go out any farther unless you had a deeper slide box which they may have making the side exposed farther out.

Did you have a chance to look inside the other unit to see if it looked different from the inside?

If it looked the same, he had a longer slideout. If it looked different, yours is stopping prematurely.

The 2019 32ds is a split model year. The early 2019s had a cable slide and the later 2019s had a slim rack slide 12” bigger.
