How many of you happy campers have had the opportunity to work on your acuslide? I now carry a special tool box just for that slide.

The only tool I am aware of for that slide is the motor manual drive extension shaft.

You have never had to go fishing for a loose or broken cable. Various tools, replacement cables, and a camera on a snake are needed for my setup.

Not yet anyway. I do lube mine with dry lube every spring though.

When they work they work great. When a cable breaks it can be a mess. I have helped several friends with broken cables. Never saw a clean break. Cable unwind and tangles. Saw one rip the Puillies right off the the wall. Worst part is no room to work to repair.
