Camper Damaged/Slide Out Removal

I have a 2008 Forest River Cherokee 28A+ and recently had a tire blow which caused some damage. To properly and more conveniently repair the camper I need to remove the bunk bed slide out on the back rear passenger side of the camper. The floor has about a 10" diameter hole in it. The slide out is right around 7 feet long and I would think that it is under 500 lbs. Has anybody removed a slide out and if so any suggestions or pictures would be great.
