Can this be resolved by adjustment of the slide?
We have a 2018 Flagstaff 831CLBSS. It has 2 slides and both of them look like this when they are extended out all the way. The carpet is dragging and not staying flat against the floor. This is like this on both sides of both slides.
My question is, is this something I can adjust myself, or should I take it back to our dealers service dept to do??
Thanks, Gary.

Perhaps adding a molding strip in that area with some glue on the bottom to hold the carpet in place. Not too snug on the bottom side as you want that flap of carpet loose enough to slide freely.
I have the same issue but I just push it down and don't worry about it.

I have tried gorilla tape on the underneath side of the carpet & up the back side of the slide frame with no luck. It looks like as it is going out and dropping into place, it drops a little too soon.

Your facia boards are too long. There is not enough room for the thickness of the carpet between the bottom of the facia board and the floor glide just as the slide tilts to complete its' travel. You may have to bring the slide in slightly, draw a straight line across the bottom of the facia, maybe about 1/4" - 3/8" up. Then with a straight back saw, cut the bottom of each facia to allow for the thickness of the carpet.

Thanks, I also thought of that, & I'm afraid to do that because of the seal of the slide does go all the way to the bottom of the facia board. I will go back and double check the seal and see just how far it goes sown. I don't want to compromise the seal.
I appreciate the ideas!

Modify the carpet?
I can't tell by the photo, but if the carpet isn't hemmed in the area catching on the fascia, would simply cutting it sightly solve the problem? Or maybe cut it and hem it.
Of course, the safe bet would always be to contact the manufacturer/dealer to insure the warranty isn't voided.

This is where an oscillating multi-tool like a Fein, Dremel, Rigid, etc comes in real handy.
I kept borrowing my Son's and finally just went to HD and bought my own Rigid. Probably one of the most useful power tools I've ever bought next to a cordless drill.

Update: I'm taking our unit to the dealer this coming Wednesday. They will check it out and let me know what they find.
