The slideout on the kitchen side seems to have an automatic stop when fully extended or retracted. The dinette side does not. When fully retracted or extended, it ratchets. Is this normal or does the dinette side need a automatic stop sensor adjustment?

I always push the button until I hear the ratchet sounds.

Your kitchen slide could be of a different design that therefore doesn't have the same slide system as your dinette slide.
