Slider in or out

If the slide mechanism is manufactured by Lippert Corp. be sure to follow the maintenance instructions listed in their manual. The manual states, "If the slide is extended the cylinder shaft should be sprayed with silicone every five to seven days. If in a salt atmosphere, three to four days is recommended."
Their cylinders are guaranted for five years, but if you don't spray, they won't honor.

I leave my slide in usually. I am afraid of sag. Don't know if that is realistic or not.
