In the last picture I put a Red straw which is what I believe to be the channel you are referring to.

Toppler Installation -Thank You to All the Responded

I have learned alot in the last few hrs and I'm grateful for everyone's imput.

As I see it when I get the Dometic Topplers in the hardes part of the task is mounting the brackets to the Slider. Once brackets are in place its a matter of sliding the vinal into the slot. I do assume I remove one of the rain trays and put it back up once vinal has been installed. Hopeuflly thats all that will be needed.

FYI-The reason I ask alot of questions is because I work in Construction and I have learned over the years you have to do what is a PTP-Pre Task Plan and understand the task before you take on the task.

Again Thanks for the help.

The red straw did it! Now you know that you have the bead track, and the awning will just slide into it.

Now the hardest part is going to be mounting the brackets to the slide wall. And that's not too big a job.

I've read some descriptions that specifically say the rail comes with the awning, and some aren't clear about it.

The best thing for anyone who needs the rail, to do before ordering the awning, is to ask the vendor to make sure you get it.
