If you don't have a slide out awning, it is always a good idea to check the tops of slide outs for debris before closing. I carry a ladder with me but hate to set it up just to check the top of the slide. I bought a $2 clip-on mirror and attached it to an old brush/scraper with a telescoping handle to look at the top of the slide.
Good contraption. At first I thought that was going to be a long selfie stick. I suppose one of those would work too - start video running and send it up there to capture the scene, or shoot several still shots.
At the Hershey RV show a few years ago they had a similar contraption that had a brush that could bend on a 90 with a mirror and such... They wanted $150 for it... Yours is much better and cheaper!
