I will put them where Lou suggested, but IMO they would do better at holding the slide in if they were down close to the floor where there is more structure to hold it in regardless of jumping teeth. May investigate the possibility.

I put them where the manufacturer says to put them.
They would serve no purpose down close to the floor, as I explained previously.
You don't seem to understand what the slide locks are designed to do.

To put the record straight, Lou is the one that provided the instructions and explanation backed with documentation. All you offered was an opinion and opinions are like...everyone has one.

I understand exactly what the side locks are for thanks to Lou. I guess it might be you that doesn't understand that there's more than one way to skin a cat.

Well, as I posted earlier in this thread, MINOR damage because I forgot about the silly sticks when I tried to put the slides out without taking the sticks out. The rubber seal on the wall came off two nails. I think I can either get it back on the nail, or just live with it.

Ok, I don't feel like getting out the measuring tape but the front slide is the shorter one, I'm guessing 7 feet. The back slide is longer cuz it has the computer desk (Model 3170) I'm guessing 10 feet.

Now, in my previous two RV's, (Both were 3120), the front slide was the longer one, maybe 7 feet versus maybe 5 feet in the bedroom. I still thought I should have had four sticks in those models.
